New Look is stocking a pair of pyjamas similar to a designer version

New Look is stocking a pair of pyjamas that bear a striking resemblance to a designer alternative. Known for its affordable fashion, the high street giant may have just introduced a new crowd-pleaser.

The retailer's Red Satin Revere Pyjama Set looks similar to a style by high end brand Olivia Von Halle, but at a fraction of the cost. Shoppers can snag the New Look version for £32.99, while the Olivia Von Halle Yves Ruby Pyjamas carry a price tag of £590 online.

The pyjamas look almost identical, both featuring a satin finish, white buttons and contrasting trim. However, the designer version is made with 100% silk, while the high street pyjamas are Polyester.

The Olivia Von Halle set features three pockets on the top, while the New Look version does not. The trim of the designer pair is also blush pink, while the other set is white.

The New Look product description reads: "This comfy pyjama set includes a shirt and trousers. Perfect for warmer nights, it's made from a breezy lightweight material."

The pyjamas have just one review online so far, which reads: "The quality is really good for the price, material is super soft and super comfy." However, there are only limited sizes left in stock, including 8, 12, 14 and 20.

H&M is stocking red satin pyjamas for £27.99, while PrettyLittleThing has the Dark Red Satin Feather Trim Long PJ Set on sale for £16, down from £32. Boohoo also has the Heart Detail Pocket Button Front Pyjamas for £14, down from £28.
