New Season of Robert Downey Jr.'s podcast explores tough-love rehab

Robert Downey Jr. is a very successful celebrity with many equally successful projects, but this time he is focusing on sending his podcast through the roof as he is preparing to launch the second season of it.

The documentary podcast "The Sunshine Place" has won awards and has been on th top of rating charts and now, along with the executive producers, it will talk about Downey Jr.'s controversial "tough-love" teen rehab program.

Season two will be ready for everyone on October 30 and episodes will be released weekly on Wednesdays and the last episode will air on December 11, according to plan. The production crew includes Susan Downey, his wife.

The true meaning of the podcast

Along with his wife, Robert Downey Jr has a large number of members to produce the podcast. Emily Barclay Ford on behalf of the Team Downey production company; Audacy Podcasts' Maddy Sprung-Keyser, Jenna Weiss-Berman and Leah Reis-Dennis; and Wink Pictures' Josh McLaughlin all form the production team.

"As we were wrapping up season one of The Sunshine Place, we uncovered a startling connection: a link between Synanon, the origins of Straight Inc., and the troubled teen industry that still thrives today," production members said to the media.

"Through riveting first-person accounts, we're once again able to understand how vulnerable families seeking solutions to complicated problems can lead to dangerous consequences," they added as every one of them has put something behind their work for it to be successful once again.
