Nicki Minaj is celebrating a milestone with her man.
On Monday, the Pink Friday 2 rapper took to Instagram to commemorate five years of marriage to her husband, Kenneth Petty.
“24 years after we first met. Love at first sight. I’m so proud of you. Thank you for catching me…every single time. Thank you for our little BFF,” she captioned a slideshow featuring photos and videos of herself, Perry, and their son. Minaj also referenced him as “Ken” and herself as “Barbie.”
“Happy 5th Anniversary," she added.
The couple said their "I do’s" on Oct. 20, 2019, and in September 2020, welcomed their son. Minaj hasn’t revealed his name to the public, instead affectionately calling him Papa Bear.
Minaj and Petty previously dated when they were teenagers and reconnected in 2018. However, Onika’s relationship raised some eyebrows when it was discovered that Kenneth is a registered sex offender, who served four years in prison for the rape of a 16-year-old in 1995.
Minaj has defended and loved her husband through it all, even when he physically fought Meek Mill in 2020, threatened Offset in 2023, and took some strays on Megan Thee Stallion’s song “Hiss” in 2024.
