Nicole Kidman has confessed she had to halt filming her latest risqué movie, Babygirl.
The film, set for release on January 10, features the Australian superstar, 57, as a high-powered married businesswoman who embarks on a steamy affair with a young intern - played by The Iron Claw's Harris Dickinson, 28, reports the Mirror.
The duo share some intensely intimate scenes in the film, which also stars Antonio Banderas as Nicole's on-screen husband, Jacob. Discussing the impact of the provocative scenes, the Eyes Wide Shut actress admitted they became overwhelming at times, insisting she "didn't want to orgasm anymore".
"There was an enormous amount of sharing and trust and then frustration. It's like: 'Don't touch me,'" she expressed, adding: "There were times when we were shooting where I was like, "I don't want to orgasm any more". Speaking to The Sun about her reaction to her co-stars, she continued: "Don't come near me. I hate doing this. I don't care if I am never touched again in my life! I'm over it."

Babygirl, which hits US screens on Christmas day, follows hard-nosed CEO, Romy (Kidman), who jeopardises her career and life's work when she starts a passionate affair with her young intern Samuel (Dickinson). Director Halina Reijn drew inspiration from Sharon Stone and Michael Douglas' sexual thriller Basic Instinct, as well as a story about a woman who had never experienced sexual pleasure during her 25-year marriage, when creating the film.
Nicole Kidman has expressed her fascination with her latest project, stating it took her to uncharted territory in her acting career. She shared, "I've always been on a quest as an actor, I'm always going, where have I not been?"
The renowned actress is no stranger to provocative roles, having starred in the steamy Eyes Wide Shut alongside her ex-husband Tom Cruise. Directed by Stanley Kubrick, the film is known for its explicit content and is based on Arthur Schnitzler's 1926 novella Dream Story. It follows a doctor (Cruise) who is stunned when his wife (Kidman) admits she once considered an affair.
Reflecting on Eyes Wide Shut, which marks its 25th anniversary this year, Kidman admitted to the Los Angeles Times that she has "seen bits of it" but has "never watched it all the way through."
