Nicole Kidman has opened up about a "hard" aspect of being in Hollywood today.
The homegrown star has become a household name over the decades from her roles in classics like Moulin Rouge to Big Little Lies and, more recently, The Perfect Couple.
Her most recent accolade is being part of the Vanity Fair 2025 Hollywood Issue, alongside A-listers like Zendaya, Zoe Saldaña, Sydney Sweeney and Dev Patel.

Speaking to Vanity Fair, the longtime actress opened up about the state of Hollywood and movie development today, admitting, "Everything's hard now".
Kidman explained production in Hollywood is "shrinking".
"I definitely feel it. I'm sure most people in the industry feel it," she said.
"You're just along for the ride, and it is very much ups and downs and rollercoasters, and you just go, Hold on tight."
Her piece of advice for her children amid the uncertainty: don't have any regrets.
"Hold on and go for it and take the opportunities when they arise and jump in and try something. The worst you can do is fail."
The star is married to musician Keith Urban, who she shares daughters Sunday Rose and Faith with. She also has daughter Bella and son Connor who she adopted with ex-husband Tom Cruise.

In her interview with Vanity Fair, Kidman said her mum was like her "compass in a way" and shared she wished she could be there for the latest achievements in her career.
