Jhené Aiko has joined the list of stars sharing the heartbreaking news that the California fires destroyed her home. Paris Hilton, Billy Crystal, and Many Moore already shared their heartbreak over losing their homes in the Palisades fire. Jhené Aiko, though, didn’t just speak on her loss. She also called out trolls for brushing off her situation and assuming her wealth matched “Paris Hilton’s money.”

Jhené Aiko Addresses Online Critics After Losing Her Home In LA Wildfires

The Shade Room caught the the ‘Stay Ready’ singer dropping a comment under a post, calling out folks who brushed off her loss due to her celebrity status.

“The fact some of you think I have Paris Hilton money is wild. I don’t got it like that, but I do have a big, loving family that is worth more than anything,” Aiko wrote.

Jhené also shared how she lost her home to a fire back in second grade and dealt with kids clowning her thinking she came from money. She added that she’s thanksful for being in a better spot now than she was back then.

“But they thought we were rich because we had love!! My family and our friends came together and made sure my mom and me and my siblings had at least 1 new sweat suit and 1 new pair of shoes the very next day. I am fortunate enough to be in a better situation than back then. And I pray I can have as much grace as my mother did during that time. I work very hard for my family. I pray that you all stay safe God Bless,” Aiko continued.

Jhené Sends Prayers To Those Affected By The Wildfires

Before addressing the haters, Aiko shared prayers for everyone affected by the fires. She expressed her heavy heart, revealing that she and her children lost everything and now have to rebuild their lives from the ground up.

“me and my children’s home is gone. burned to the ground with all of our things inside. Lord have mercy. thankful we still have each other. starting from scratch. my heart is so heavy,” the ‘Bed Peace’ songstress wrote.

Lakers Sends Love To LA

With fires raging in Los Angeles, the Lakers showed love to those affected and thanked first responders for their hard work during this tough time. The team also announced plans to reschedule their home game against the Charlotte Hornets in a post on X (formerly Twitter). They asked fans to hang onto their tickets, promising a new date soon.
