Brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher have famously, and explosively, argued in the past - leading to the destruction of their band, Oasis, in 2009. They will reunite in 2025 for a new tour.

Noel Gallagher has insisted that he won't argue with his brother, Liam, on tour

Noel Gallagher has insisted that there will be no arguments between him and his brother Liam during the 2025 Oasis tour - because they are too old to fight.

The 57-year-old Don't Look Back In Anger singer and his 52-year-old brother Liam explosively fell out in 2009, destroying their band, and seeing the brothers vow never to perform together again. But earlier this year, it became clear that hell had frozen over as the boys sensationally revealed they were getting the band back together for a 2025 reunion tour.

Reports have suggested that Noel and Liam won't be paid a penny for their tour until all dates are complete - amid concerns old wounds could reopen on the road. While further reports have revealed 'military level' planning has been involved in order to ensure the brothers spend as little time as possible in direct company.

But now Noel has said he won't have the energy to argue with his little brother as they are now both so old. He has also suggested the tour won't be very rock n roll due to his ageing years too.

Speaking to The Sun, the singer said: "It won’t be as raucous as back in the day, because we’re on the wrong side of 50 now, so we’re too old... We’re too old to give a s**t now, so there won’t be any fallouts, there won’t be any fighting. It’s a lap of honour for the band.”

Asked if he was happy to be reunited with his brother Liam for the upcoming tour, Noel replied: "Of course, yes." It has been 15 years since Oasis last performed as a band after the brothers fell out following a string of arguments. The beginning of the end appeared to start when the boys abruptly cancelled their plan to play at the V Festival in Chelmsford in 2009.

Liam had contracted laryngitis - but Noel had claimed he just had a hangover. Liam then threatening to sue his brother, saying: "I was gutted when I couldn't play the gig because I didn't want to let the fans down. The truth is I had laryngitis, which Noel was made fully aware of that morning, diagnosed by a doctor."

The Stop Crying Your Heart Out singer dropped his lawsuit once Noel apologised publicly, telling NME: "It is a fact that he was diagnosed with laryngitis and it is a fact that he had a doctor's note to prove it. But I'd just like to say though, if he gets offended by my opinions on such things then you know I apologise, but it's all getting very silly and a little bit out of hand and it's not very cool. But there you go."

But later that month in 2009, Noel quit Oasis mid-way through performing at the Rock en Seine festival. He wrote on the band's website at the time: "It is with some sadness and great relief... I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer." While subsequent reports suggested the brothers physically fought before Noel made the decision to walk away.
