Nothing has officially launched its Nothing Phone 2a Plus Community Edition in India. The latest addition from the Nothing comes with powerful features like a distinctive glow-in-the-dark aesthetic and custom packaging. The newly launched smartphone is a custom edition of the earlier launched Nothing Phone 2a Plus in March. The company has described the detailed process of stages in which the community edition is being made. The project was built in 4 stages: Hardware design, Wallpaper design, Packaging design, and Marketing campaign.
Nothing Phone 2a Plus Community Edition Specifications
The specifications of this Nothing smartphone are similar to the regular Nothing Phone (2a). This Community Edition phone has a 6.7-inch FHD + AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and the touch sampling rate is 240Hz, peak brightness is 1,300 nits. In addition, it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Nothing says that it received more than 900 fan entries from 47 countries to optimize the handset. The project lasted for six months and suggestions were taken from the community about the design, wallpaper, packaging and marketing of this special edition phone.

As far as camera features are concerned, it comes with 50MP Samsung GN9 primary camera, which comes with a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide camera sensor with OIS, EIS, and 10x digital zoom. Along with this, the phone has a 50MP Samsung JN1 lens for selfie and video calling.
The phosphorescent back panel is the highlight of the Nothing Phone 2A Plus Community Edition which glows green in the dark. There are light strips around the rear camera of the phone. The new handset has new wallpapers and new packaging that shows off the glow-in-the-dark design.

Nothing Phone 2a Plus Community Edition is priced at Rs Rs 29,999 for 12GB + 256GB variant. It is important to note that the company will only release 1000 units of this latest edition smartphone.
