Olivia Attwood makes cryptic dig at I’m A Celeb’s Maura Higgins

2 hours ago 4

Olivia Attwood, who lasted just 48 hours in the jungle in 2022, hinted to fans on social media that she was withholding the truth about something that would “blow your f***king mind" as she accused someone of copying her every move.

Although Olivia has not yet confirmed who she was targeting on her Instagram story, her online outburst comes shortly after Maura Higgins admitted to taking revenge on her unfaithful ex-boyfriend to her fellow I'm A Celeb campmates.

Sharing the message to her 2.2 million followers, Olivia wrote: "One day I'm going to write a book and some of the stuff I have managed to keep quiet on over the years. It will blow your f***ing mind. You can try to hire all the same people, regurgitate my stories as your own, study the playbook, follow the recipe blah blah blah, but it will NEVER taste the same. That's all."

After the savage post, a close friend of Olivia has shared why the star decided to break her silence on the copy cat situation now, reports the Mirror.

Similar to Maura, Olivia rose to fame since appearing on Love Island in 2017

Olivia reportedly believes that Maura is using the "same script" that she did to earn her success - including why she appeared on Love Island.

Earlier this year, Olivia shared on her podcast how her now-husband Bradley Dack's cheating on her motivated her to enter the Love Island villa.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Olivia said: "I wanted to get back at my ex-bad boyfriend Bradley, and it worked. I turned down series three initially - until I found out Brad was seeing his ex-girlfriend. I thought, 'Oh my gosh, I can't actually believe this has happened to me again. What am I actually doing?'"

"Anyone who has been cheated on knows it's just the most horrible thing. Brad and I hadn't met each other's families at that point but we were dating. I was deeply shocked," she said.

In an episode of I’m A Celeb earlier this week, Maura revealed to her campmates that she too went on Love Island to seek revenge on an ex-boyfriend who cheated on her.

When Jane Moore asked Maura why she went on the dating show, the Irish star said "so I had a boyfriend at the time”, explaining that she went through his phone and made some devastating discoveries which left her feeling like she "didn't know him at all".

She went on: “I had a plan and no word of a lie, when he went to the gym the next day I got his toothbrush and I filmed myself scrubbing in the verges [of the toilet], he had a dentist appointment that day." Maura then shared that the revelation fuelled her to give it her all inside the Love Island villa.

She said: “I went in like a bull in a china shop because I was so angry about that whole thing."

Maura shared her story about getting revenge on her ex

However, Olivia’s pal reckons Maura could have blended the truth when telling this story, as she had previously attributed the same story regarding her break up with Love Island ex Curtis Pritchard.

The source said: "A lot of people are feeling confused by the story Maura told on Sunday night's episode of I'm A Celeb and wonder if she's telling tales for airtime.

"She explained to her campmates that she signed up to Love Island to get revenge on an ex-boyfriend who was unfaithful and how she used his toothbrush to clean the toilet. But she said the same when she split from Curtis Pritchard, alleging to her followers she used his toothbrush to clean the bog following their 2020 breakup.

"Olivia was cast on Love Island, seeking revenge on Bradley Dack, which worked out in the best way possible as now they're happily married. There's definitely a feeling Maura is attempting to carve out her career using Olivia's incredible success as a guide."
