Fans of Olly Murs were left gutted after the singer was forced to cancel a gig hours before he was due to take to the stage.
The former X Factor star, 40, was scheduled to perform at Bla Bla Dubai on Thursday night. However, he had to pull the show just moments before the gig due to a throat infection. Now, he's labelled himself "broken" following his enforced decision.
He took to his Instagram Stories to share an emotional message with his followers. Sharing an image of him looked despondent, Olly wrote: "A man with a broken voice. Gutted Dubai, I'll be back!!"
His latest update comes after breaking the news on his social media platform. At the time, he took to his Instagram stories to pen over a black background: “To everyone here in Dubai, unfortunately due to doctor’s orders I am having to cancel tonight’s show at Bla-Bla because of a throat infection. I’m so gutted. I look forward to coming back ASAP and will share new date information as soon as I can! Olly x”.

He revealed that he and former TOWIE star Mark Wright are set to front a brand new Saturday breakfast show on Heart Radio. Sharing a promo video with Mark on social media, the station's Instagram read: “Look who it is... Wrighty and Mursy taking over! Catch Olly and Mark on their brand new Saturday breakfast show starting March 1st at 9am.”
Olly said of the new show: "I’m absolutely buzzing to be sharing my Saturday mornings with Wrighty & the Heart listeners. They’ve actually given us our own radio show – can you believe it!? We have such a laugh off air, so I know we’ll have a great time doing this together. Expect plenty of banter, big entertainment, and obviously a bit of healthy competition. Can’t wait!!”
The duo have been friends for a number of years after initially taking part in Soccer Aid. Mark said of the announcement: "It’s not every day that you get to work with your mate, and I just can’t wait for Olly to join Heart. I just know our listeners are going to love listening to Olly every Saturday morning, and we promise to bring you all the good laughs, fun and banter!"
