Monsters star Cooper Koch has just thanked Kim Kardashian for doing him a massive favor. We all know she often makes visits to prisons in her bid to free who she believes to be innocent.
Kim Kardashian has been making prison reform a main priority. Cooper Koch plays one half of the jailed Menendez brothers on Netflix series, Monsters, and she sorted him out with a quick prison visit.
Cooper Koch âowes his lifeâ to Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian randomly called Cooper Koch, having watched him play a key role on Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, and within two hours, a plan was in place to visit the Menendez brothers in jail.
Cooper has now told Paper Magazine that he âwill owe her for the rest of my lifeâ for organising that meeting, given that the brothers were convicted of first-degree murder in 1996 and sentenced to life.
They were sentenced without parole for shooting their parents in 1989. Like Cooper, Kim believes the Menendez brothers should be freed, and so they went to visit the jailed siblings together.

She sorted a prison visit to Menendez brothers
Kim managed to use her influence with prison reform to arrange a quick visit to the Menendez brothers in jail. Lyle and Erik serve life sentences at Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility near San Diego, California.
Her sister Khloe Kardashian, mother Kris Jenner, and film producer Scott Budnick went with Cooper to the meet-up, which led to Kimâs NBC News segment urging the legal system to reconsider life sentences.
âIt was very surreal. It was a pretty crazy day. All I can say is that I am just so grateful for her, and I will owe her for the rest of my life that she made that happen â and so quickly,â Cooper told Paper Magazine.
He added: âThrough my stylist Jamie, she called me, and within two hours a plan was in place. She called me on Monday and we went on Saturday.â Now, the Menendez brothers face a re-sentencing hearing.
