OnePlus has announced the new Android 15-based OxygenOS 15 for all eligible devices. The Chinese OEM will first roll out the Open Beta version of the OS. This will be followed by the release of the stable version. While the definitive stable version is still a few weeks away, OnePlus has published the list of all the devices that are eligible for the OxygenOS 15 update. The rollout will start on October 30 and continue until 2025. The flagship devices from the company will get first priority.

‘Speed meets AI’ is the official tagline of the OxygenOS 15 so you can pretty much guess what to expect from the mobile software. This year, several OEMs upped their AI game, including OnePlus’ sister company Oppo. Here are some of the AI features that the OxygenOS 15 will bring to OnePlus devices:

- AI Reflection Eraser
- AI Notes (with features like Clean Up, Format, Tone Adjustment, and text generation)
Apart from AI, the new OxygenOS will be refreshed with new visual effects for app switching, icon minimising, home screen, SUPERVOOC charging, and more. New customisation options will be added to Always On Display and wallpaper themes. The new Theft Detection feature will be able to lock your screen if it detects that someone grabbed your phone and ran away. To protect your data, the screen will automatically get locked as soon as your phone goes offline.
