Photography company ParrotPrint selected seven of the ugliest dogs from hundreds of applications who wanted a chance to win a doggie makeover.
The crowned Ugliest Dog of Britain will win a Christmas-themed makeover and photo session. Matt Dahan, founder of ParrotPrint said, said: "We can transform the winning ugly dog into a beautiful pooch and give their owners a fantastic photoshoot experience.
"And who knows, perhaps it will be the first step to fame and fortune if last year's winner Peggy is anything to go by."
Peggy, last year's winner, went on to appear on live TV – on BBC Breakfast and This Morning – and featured in blockbusters Deadpool and the Wolverine movie.
Mr Dahan added: "Now our judges have the tough task of choosing exactly which of these mutts is the most offensive to look at!"
