Hudson Joseph Meek has died after reportedly falling from a moving vehicle in Alabama, USA, last week. He was 16.
The young actor, whose credits include the 2017 film Baby Driver and the MacGyver reboot, died after sustaining injuries from the fall, multiple media outlets report.
According to the Jefferson Country Coroner's Office, Meek sustained blunt force trauma when he fell from a moving vehicle in the 1900 block of Canyon Road in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, on Thursday December 19.
Local news outlets reported Meek was taken to UAB hospital, where he died from his injuries two days later on Saturday December 21.

According to local reports, his death is currently under investigation by Vestavia Hills police.
Those close to Meek took to his Instagram page to share the sad news.
"Our hearts are broken to share that Hudson Meek went home to be with Jesus tonight," the post read.
"His 16 years on this earth were far too short, but he accomplished so much and significantly impacted everyone he met."
A celebration for Hudson's life is set to be held later this week with his family and friends.
A scholarship in Meek's memory is also set to be set up at his high school, in lieu of flowers. It will be awarded annually to a student at the school.

"Please pray for Hudson's family and friends as we all process this sudden and tragic loss," the post concluded.
According to Meek's obituary, he "died peacefully" and was "surrounded by friends, family, and the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ".
"Hudson was an organ donor and his family is comforted by knowing that he will continue to help other for years to come," the obituary continued.

Meek was an accomplished actor having worked on several motion pictures and television shows.

According to IMDB, Meek has 17 credits to his name and is best known for his role in the 2017 film Baby Driver, his appearance in one episode of the MacGyver reboot and starring in the 2015 film 90 Minutes in Heaven.
Meek's obituary shared that some of his more recent projects are set to be released in 2025.
"He absolutely loved spending time on set and having the chance to learn the names and stories of every member of the cast and crew," the obituary read.

Outside of his acting achievements, Meek is being remembered for his "one-of-a-kind" personality.
"He was confident, convicted in his beliefs, spontaneous, and quick-witted. He never let the facts get in the way of a funny story, and he loved friendly banter," the obituary continued.
"He was a prankster, loved a good joke and was happiest when he was making others laugh. Hudson thrived in settings that allowed him to meet and serve new people. Hudson was a vibrant and dynamic person who lived life to the fullest."
Meek is also being remembered as someone dedicated to his faith.
The 16-year-old is survived by his parents, Derek and Lani, his older brother Tucker, his grandmothers and other relatives.
