We can't watch what our pets get up to 24/7, but one dog owner has delighted the internet by sharing the signs of her pet's shenanigans when she wasn't watching.
A TikTok video posted by user @lalaloof has gone viral with more than 750,000 views as the dog owner shared the hilarious aftermath of her pet's playtime in the snow.
"I didn't witness my dog having zoomies... but there were signs," the text overlay said. The dog was nowhere to be seen, but the "signs" were clear—a chaotic web of pawprint trails etched into the fresh snow, revealing the dog's energetic romp across the yard.
The video prompted laughter in viewers who shared reactions in the comments.
Viewer Kenz, joked: "Did she even pick up her feet?" while Lorannamae wrote: "The only reason I like snowy seasons is my dog LOVES it."
Another commenter, Jo, joked: "This is a visual representation of my mind."
For those who may not be familiar, "zoomies"—officially known as Frenetic Random Activity Periods—are sudden bursts of energy often seen in dogs and cats. These high-energy episodes, which can involve wild running, jumping, and playful chaos, are a way for pets to release pent-up energy.
"Snow zoomies," as some commenters pointed out, can be a next-level experience for pups who love frolicking in winter weather. TikTok user 08elleinad lamented: "I'd be absolutely devastated to have missed my pup having snow zoomies," while viewer Katie exclaimed: "Omggg I love this so much!"
"Snow zoomies are elite," agreed booneandcrockett_thelabs. Viewer Jo added that it looked like the dog had "the time of her life."
Zoomies are a good sign that your dog is happy and enjoying life, and most dogs, regardless of age or breed will indulge in them at some point.
This isn't the first time a dog's zoomies has gained viral attention, last month a senior dog captured hearts after his owner shared how despite being 15 years old, blind and deaf, he still has some great fun with zoomies.
Before that, people were left in stitches as a Labrador had a hilarious reaction to a nearby Jack Russell zooming past while he laid back and relaxed.
