Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband has blamed P Diddy for their divorce.
Ojani Noa gave an interview to Despierta America and partially blamed the I’ll Be Missing You hitmaker for their split. He said: “Part of that divorce was Diddy’s fault.”
Noa also alleged that there was "cheating and lies" in their marriage: “When Sony came and paid her the millions she got, there was Puffy who was doing to be one of the producers of several tracks on the first album On The 6. That’s where the cheating, the lies, the separation started.”

He alleged that he was in Los Angeles “opening his restaurant,” JLo was "between Miami and New York working on the album". Ojani alleged: “When I could, I would go to be with her. There, in that distance, in that separation, was where the cheating started.”
Lopez and Noa married in 1997 but sadly their relationship came to an end in 1998. Jennifer and Diddy, real name Sean Combs, dated from 1999 to 2001 after they met on the set of the If You Had My Love music video.
While dating Diddy, Lopez began working with other rappers and her career skyrocketed after a string of hugely successful singles. Back in 2014, she told Access Hollywood: “He have me so many cues and taught me so many things. I’ll always be grateful to him for that.”
The couple became embroiled in legal troubles back in 1999 when they were partying in New York City. After an argument gunfire was heard, resulting in three people wounded.
Diddy and Lopez were arrested on gun possession charges. While escaping in Diddy’s car, police stopped them and found a gun inside the vehicle.
However, Lopez cooperated with the police and charges against her were soon dropped. Diddy was also acquitted of all charges in March 2001.
Sean Combs was arrested on 16 October 2024 and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. The rapper has “categorically denied” all the charges made against him.
