Paige DeSorbo Confirms Craig Conover Split -- Says She Still Loves Him, BUT...

It really is the end for Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover.

Despite what we heard from the Southern Charm star in recent weeks, his now-ex is setting the record straight. On a new episode of Paige and Hannah Berner‘s Giggly Squad podcast, the Summer House personality is confirming all the rumors we feared — everyone’s favorite Bravo couple is over.

While speaking to listeners on Monday, the 32-year-old announced:

“Craig and I have decided to no longer be together.”

She admitted the situation is “weird” right now but also said she still loves him despite their issues:

“I love him. I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends.”

She thinks?? After three years together, she thinks he loves her? Ouch! Seems like something she should be definite on, not completely questioning! No wonder they’re broken up!

Paige went on to clarify neither of them “did anything” particularly terrible, it was just an amicable split:

“No one did anything. It wasn’t a bad thing. I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want, and I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to voice how you’re feeling in real time and what you want for your future.”

Hmm…

She called the last few years with him “very transformative” where she and the 36-year-old changed “a lot”. But, all in all, she claims things are a-okay between them:

“I have so much love and respect for Craig. I think he is one of the best people I’ve met in my entire life. I will remain the biggest fan for him and want the best for him, and he truly will get the best because he is the best. But, with that said, I think it is the right decision for both of us.”

Paige said due to their status as public figures, the split has been not just “very sad” but also incredibly “awkward” to deal with because of all the eyes on them at all times.

Speaking of time… How long have they been broken up? She didn’t give a firm timeline, but she did completely deny the rumor they split up MONTHS ago and were just waiting for their shows to air to stir up more drama:

“No one can tell me what to do. The network has power, but they don’t have that much power. So, that was not a real thing. Rumors of us breaking up months ago — again, also not a real thing.”

Without explicitly revealing when or why they broke up, it’s safe to assume it was recent. We mean, Craig was denying the rumors just twenty days ago — and the couple spent Thanksgiving together! One thing is certain with Paige, though, and that’s the fact she still has strong feelings for her ex. She gushed:

“He’s definitely the best boyfriend I’ve ever had. Like, I can truly say that. He was a great boyfriend, and he did everything correct, and he never made me feel insecure or anything like that, so it almost is harder when no one’s done anything to be mad about, and that’s hard.”
