Papoose And Claressa Shields Spotted Together Before Boxing Match In Resurfaced Video

Footage of Papoose and Claressa Shields enjoying each other’s company prior to a boxing match has resurfaced online.

In the wake of the Papoose and Remy Ma‘s explosive war of words regarding their relationship, which was seemingly sparked by Remy finding out about Pap’s secret romance with Shields, previous social media posts featuring the Papoose and Shields now have added interest.

Over the weekend, a brief clip shows the Brooklyn rapper voicing his support for Shields while standing alongside the championship boxer prior to her bout against heavyweight contender Vanessa Joanisse on July 27, 2024. In the video, Pap announces that he’s “with the champ” and that things are “about to get ugly,” referencing Shields’ fight against Joanisse.

Dressed in her warmup gear, Shields echoes Pap’s sentiments, adding that it would be her opponent who will face the least attractive outcome. Shields would win the heavywieght title after scoring three knockdowns in a second round TKO defeat of Joanisse for the vacant WBO belt.

The seeming fallout between Papoose and Remy Ma dates back to 2023, when Pap discovered that Remy was cheating on him with Eazy The Block Captain, a popular battle rapper out of Philadelphia. Papoose allegedly assaulted Eazy The Block Captain during a battle rap event that same year, but never spoke publicly about the fight or his and Remy’s deteriorating relationship.

That changed after Remy Ma made a scathing social media post revealing Pap’s romance with Shields, accusing the rapper of being a serial cheater and being involved with multiple women.

Papoose responded by confirming that he “knocked out” Eazy The Block Captian, deeming Remy as a “narcissist” for not taking accountability for stepping out on their marriage.

According to Papoose, he has requested to file for a divorce from Remy Ma on numerous occasions, but says she’s refused to do so in an attempt to force him into publicly refute claims of his fight against Eazy The Block Captain.

The bad blood has continued to boil over between all parties involved, as Eazy The Block Captain has challenged Papoose to a fist-fight, with Shields also challenging Remy to throw hands amid their own back-and forth.
