Paulina Porizkova‘s stripped-down video shows so much, from how she plays with diamonds to how she relates them to the beauty of mature women. All of it is a must-see, trust us.
On Nov 25, Porizkova shared a video of herself talking about growing older, and the beauty behind it all. She shared the video with the caption reading, “A mature woman, like diamond, is basically/ a chunk of carbon that did well under pressure./ But unlike diamonds, our existence cannot be owned./
Instead, we are stars in a night sky – plentiful as we are beautiful – where we shine on to guide those who care.”

She also tagged who made the video possible, saying, “Jewelry by @alexeihay. Camera @jill.greenberg. Hair @brentlawler. Makeup @therealistdotti.”

In the hypnotic video, we see Porizkova looking so enchanting as she’s covered in diamonds, lounging in a nude lacy lingerie set. She’s showing off her iconic smile, gray hair, and fun personality.
We see her answer questions about love and diamonds and play with the rings she’s promoting. Along with that, we hear her humming, adding a sense of moodiness to it all.
So not only do we love this moody, unfiltered video of Porizkova, but we love her age-positive caption.
Now, this is not the first, nor will it be the last, time Porizkova has reminded people that life does get better with age; and how it’s important to stay in shape to be able to do so many things.
“Staying in shape takes much more time and effort, but it allows me to fully inhabit this shell I was given at birth, something I took for granted most of my life. But not anymore. Now it’s a deliberate decision to allow it to work as best as it can, being grateful for its ability to move me through the world to keep harvesting the beauty of it all. Pain included,” she told SheKnows in April 2023.
