Pedro Pascal's sister Lux steals the show at Gladiator II premiere in cut-out dress

Pedro Pascal and his younger sister Lux, who came out as transgender in 2021, commanded attention at the London premiere of Gladiator II on Wednesday night and instantly set social media alight

Pedro Pascal's sister Lux had all eyes on her at the London premiere of Gladiator II.

The actor, 49, who plays Marcus Acacius in the new movie alongside Russel Crowe and Paul Mescal stepped out on the red carpet in Leicester Square which had been transformed to Roman kingdom. While all the stars of the movie attended the premiere alongside King Charles III – it was Lux Pescal, 32, who stole the show.

Posing alongside her older brother, she commanded attention in a full length black gown, featuring a bold slash down her body, with a large emerald holding her dress together. Lux dazzled as she rocked a pair of diamond earrings and subtle make-up which complimented her facial features.

Meanwhile, her older brother opted for a low-cut black shirt, offering a glimpse at his ripped physique. He completed his look with a pair of black trousers and black shoes with two red pins on his collar. Although Pedro is the star of the show, fans couldn't help but gush over Lux's appearance.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan said: "I don't know whether to look at Pedro or Lux... the Balmaceda Pascals are going to drive me crazy." A second added: "Lux Pascal and her plus-one, the cutest brother and sister duo. Lux Pascal you will ALWAYS be famous." Another commented: "Lux Pascal gets prettier every time I see her, how is that even possible."

"Lux Pascal!! Ain't nobody looking at that man; Lux Pascal the woman that you are; their face cards never decline huh!" exclaimed another, joking that she had stolen the attention from her brother. Meanwhile, a fourth typed: "She ate him up; Lux Pascal with her brother at the Gladiator ll red carpet; Pedro and Lux Pascal. that's it. That's the tweet." "The Pascal genes are out of this world; oh Lux Pascal you're so gorgeous you're slaying it up, eating every single one of them up."

But while fans were left blown away by Lux's appearance, Pedro has never shied away from gushing over his sister, branding her one of the "most powerful people" he knows. Speaking previously to Esquire, he commented: "She is and has always been one of the most powerful people and personalities I've ever known. My protective side is lethal, but I need her more than she needs me."

The pair became incredibly close when Pascal started to feel "parental" towards Lux and their younger brother Nicolás following the death of their mum, Veronica in February 1999. Pedro was 24, while Lux was seven. He said: "They were very young kids, so much younger than me and my older sister, so even if they hadn’t lost a parent, we would still feel parental toward them.

"And I didn’t naively think I could fill a space like that, but I just always wanted to be like, I'm here." Their bond has continued to blossom, with Lux praising her brother when she came out as transgender in 2021. She said that Pedro had been an "important part" of her journey and stated he said it was "incredible" when she started to be her authentic self.

Speaking to Ya magazine, Lux said: "When I officially told him about my transition through FaceTime, he asked me how I felt… because I remember that he was worried. I told him, 'I'm happy.' And his answer was: 'Perfect, this is incredible'."
