When it comes to this time of year, many people like to indulge in a Christmas movie.
One that has stood the test of time is Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. The animated film, which was released in 1993, tells the tale of Jack Skellington, the King of Halloween Town, who comes across Christmas Town.
He takes a liking to it so much that he develops a plot to take over the holiday in his own creative way – but Sally, the creation of local scientist Doctor Finkelstein, has a vision which implies the effort won't go to plan.
But due to the fact that she's secretly in love with Jack, she ignores the premonition and goes along with it. Even though Sally has been in our living rooms for years, it turns out very few people know the face behind the character's voice.
Clare Loughran, known as clary_poppins on TikTok, blew people's minds on social media when she delivered the news. In a candid clip, she said: "Fun fact - this humanoid rag doll was voiced by this humanoid matriarch."
In the video, you see a picture of Sally followed by a picture of Home Alone's Catherine O'Hara. That's right, this may be one of the greatest, if not widely known, Christmas crossovers of all time.
As well as playing Kevin McCallister's mum in Home Alone, the actress also found the time to voice Sally three years after starring in one of the most iconic festive movies of all time. The news has left the internet shaken.

A third said: "I needed to know this." Meanwhile, a fourth commented: "Wait, what? It's literally my favourite, and I didn't even know. I'm ashamed."
The actress has taken on a number of roles over the years, but she's commonly known for appearing in Schitt's Creek, Beetlejuice and Penelope. O'Hara is also a widely celebrated comedian.
