Meet the pair of identical twins who have become viral sensations for their resemblance and obsession with Ariana Grande.
Taylor and Mackenna, better known as Pink Sweetner, look so alike that even their friends struggle to tell them apart. The pair from Canada spend their days fixing their high ponytails, applying winged eyeliner and dressing up in outfits inspired by superstar singer Ariana.
The duo, who love spending every waking hour together because of their "really, really strong" bond, have over 75 outfits inspired by Wicked star, a number of replicas of outfits she has worn, as well as all of her perfume collections.
The duo, who say they make 25 TikToks a day, said: "Usually in public a lot of people stare - their heads kind of turn when we walk past them." "We went from really shy and being in the background, to being confident and wanting to stand out," they told YouTube's Truly TV.
The pair explained that they chose their viral name Pink Sweetener because pink is one of their favourite colours, and sweetener is the name of one of Ariana's album. The duo, who have 86,700 followers on TikTok, say that they love the singer and actress' style and songs.
On TikTok, the pair share pictures of them dressed up like the singer as well as videos of them singing to her songs. "Wait, you look like Ariane Grande," said one individual in the comments section. "The Ariana twins," said another.
However, some people have called the twins, who dress the same as each other every day, the "great value version" of Ariana. It has also been suggested that they are conducting "identify theft", but the pair not that they are not impersonating Ariana, but simply take inspiration.
Commenting on Pink Sweetner's page, one individual said: "This would freak me out so bad if I was Ari." "Dude, just be yourself," said another.
"I just can't see it," said another. On YouTube, another added: "They'll never find who they are in life if they pretend to be someone else."
Sadly, they've found themselves the target of online hate - but they have refused to let that stop them from doing what they love. "Negative comments don't phase us," the twins said.
Recently the duo have ditched Ariana's iconic ponytail for blonde wigs since the star died her locks for her role as Glinda in the Wicked films.
