Peter Kay announced additional tour dates for 2025 after selling out, sparking the same reaction from fans. The release of his tour tickets last week saw thousands of fans rushing to secure spots for his highly anticipated tour.
Over 200,000 fans flocked to the website for a chance to see the comedian on tour, including his London residency. The 51-year-old has now taken to Instagram to announce details of his additional shows to meet the huge demand.
During an ad break for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! Peter was seen in a hilarious commercial in where he casually announced the tour extension while carrying a gold toilet.
He said: "The record-breaking comedy tour continues, with new dates added. Tickets from £35. Britain's biggest comedy tour is about to get bigger."
Fans flooded Peter's comments to express their frustration over the long wait for the tour, with many eagerly wishing the shows were sooner.

INSTAGRAM)One fan quipped: "The DVD will be out by the time the last concert will be performed." Whilst another added: "Brought mine two years ago…still not going till June."
A third penned: "We’ve not been to the gig from the original release of tickets January 25 still months away!" And a fourth added: "We bought our tickets 2 years ago still ain’t been February."
Earlier this month, Peter announced his comedy touring comeback – which will be his first set of live gigs in 12 years.
Following the initial announcement, fans rushed to Ticketmaster, where they were greeted by a long queue of eager buyers all waiting at once.

Instagram)And, while getting in the virtual queue, some fans complained about the wait as one said: "F**k... Just 187,000 people ahead of me. I'm not going to get to see @peterkay_co_uk live".
"Don't think I will be getting any @peterkay_co_uk tickets then," a second wrote. And a third said: "So I’m in a queue, for a queue!!! It let me through on one of them and then threw me out at 10am and started this again. Not cool!!! @peterkay_co_uk #peterkaytour".
As fans shared their frustrations, Ticketmaster tweeted: "As expected, Peter Kay is super popular this morning. To make it as fair as possible, we have put everyone in a queue. Be patient and don’t refresh or you’ll lose your place." That's when the comic announced that extra dates were added on to his tour.
In response to Peter selling out so quickly, O2 tweeted: "We’re seeing unprecedented demand for Peter Kay tickets & we know a lot of you can’t access Priority. Sorry, we’re working on it. Please be patient; this is by far the highest demand we’ve ever seen for Priority Tickets in 15 years. The presale lasts for 48h so keep checking."
