Peter Kay delighted fans with a surprise announcement during the first ad break of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here's grand return, mirroring his initial tour comeback announcement two years ago. The Bolton comedy legend has been on a record-breaking run of gigs across the UK since December 2022.
He has now revealed a series of new dates that will extend the tour into 2025 and 2026. These new dates will feature performances at Manchester's AO Arena as well as a variety of more intimate theatre venues.
The additional dates for his comedy tour were announced in a surprise TV advert during the opening episode of I'm a Celebrity on Sunday night. The amusing new advert shows Peter being spotted as he carries a gold toilet to his mum's iconic bungalow, revealing new shows for 2025 and 2026.
The ad begins from the perspective of a couple of unseen fans in a car saying "Is that Peter Kay's mum's bungalow? " as the comedian is seen carrying the gold toilet into a bungalow. As he walks, the fan asks about the garage complete with a Freddie Mercury mural which Peter says is his mum's favourite.

The man shouts to the comic to ask if he's doing more tour dates, to which Peter replies: "Hey, I've no choice! She wants it all now" before asking if he's carrying a gold toilet. Peter quips: "Oh aye, you want to see her bidet," reports Manchester Evening News.
Peter is set to delight fans with a mix of large arena shows and intimate theatre performances across the UK in the newly announced 2025 and 2026 dates, marking his debut at venues such as Aberdeen's P&J Live and the Isle of Man's Villa Marina. The comedian's tour began in Manchester back in December 2022 and has since smashed records, celebrating an unprecedented 100th performance at the Manchester AO Arena, making history not only there but also as the first artist ever to have a monthly residency at London's O2, clocking in a staggering 45 shows—the highest number any act has achieved at the venue.
Peter will add even more shows at The O2 in 2025. Speaking about the tour, Peter expressed his joy in a statement this evening: "It's been wonderful doing what I love most, stand-up comedy. Laughter is more important than ever in these challenging times and with the cost of living still at an all-time high, ticket prices for the new dates will start from £35."
For those eager to secure their spots at Peter's events, the extra date tickets are set to be released on Saturday 23rd November at sharp 10am. Prospective attendees can head over to Ticketmaster or Gigs and Tours to make their purchase.
Admirers from Belfast and Dublin can get their hands on tickets through Ticketmaster. While starting at £35, ticket prices do include booking fees.
