Broadcaster Piers Morgan is leaving Rupert Murdoch's News UK in a huge career move.
The former Good Morning Britain host will now focus on his Uncensored YouTube channel in the US as he moves to the online platform. News UK - publisher of The Sun and The Times and owner of Times radio - has agreed a deal with Piers that will see him take ownership of the Uncensored media brand.
It currently has a 3.6million following on YouTube and Piers is understood to have struck a four-year revenue-sharing deal with News UK. The Murdoch-owned company will receive part of the advertising revenue generated by Piers Morgan Uncensored until 2029, according to Sky News.
Piers returned to News UK in January 2022 on a three-year deal. It included writing for the Sun and the New York Post as well as presenting shows on the since folded Talk TV channel.
