Vamps assemble. The time has come.

Playboi Carti’s long-awaited, frequently teased new album I Am Music will (seemingly, at least) make its live debut at this year’s =Rolling Loud Miami.

In an announcement post on Instagram, Carti told fans he “can’t wait to see” them in Florida on Dec. 15, noting that the album “will be played” as part of his performance.

Presumably, this means fans can expect to hear the album in full, though no further information on Carti’s headlining slot has been provided.

Alternatively, though no announcement has pointed to this so far, I Am Music could potentially arrive a couple days ahead of the third and final day of Rolling Loud’s flagship festival. Here’s to hoping.

At any rate, this year’s edition of Rolling Loud, also featuring Future and Travis Scott, marks its 10th anniversary.

We were last gifted with a new Carti full-length on Christmas Day 2020, setting off a nearly four-year journey that one can hope will be coming to a fitting close before 2025.

In the years since Whole Lotta Red, Carti cultivated one of the most uniquely devoted and meticulously dissecting fanbases in music, all while dropping some more-than-memorable loosies and scene-stealing features along the way.
