Poco X7 series to launch in India on this date; availability confirmed

Soon, the Poco X7 series will be available in India. The exact launch date of the next generation of smartphones has been officially confirmed by the company. The firm has disclosed the availability details prior to the lineup’s debut, in addition to its exact timeline. A base model and a pro model are anticipated to be introduced by this company.

The Poco X7 series is scheduled to launch in India on January 9 at 5:30 PM IST. The Poco X7 Pro and the regular Poco X7 are anticipated to be part of the smartphone portfolio. Flipkart has confirmed that the lineup is available for purchase nationwide.

The anticipated primary features of the phones have been hinted at, along with the launch and availability details.

The Poco X7 might have a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 1.5K. The screen may be compatible with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, HDR10+, and TÜV Rheinland eye care certification. A 6.67-inch CrystalRez 1.5K AMOLED screen with a touch sampling rate of 2,560 Hz and a maximum brightness of 3,200 nits may be included with the Pro model. IP68-rated constructions for the Poco X7 and X7 Pro phones could prevent water and dust intrusion.

A MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra CPU, up to 12GB of RAM, and 512GB of inbuilt storage are anticipated to be included with the Poco X7. The MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra SoC is probably going to be included in the Pro phone. HyperOS 2.0, based on Android 15, is reportedly pre-installed on both phones.

The Poco X7’s camera module could have a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with 2x optical zoom and OIS capability. A 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main sensor with an f/1.5 aperture, OIS, and capability for 4K video recording may be included in the Pro model. It is anticipated that the base model will have a 20-megapixel camera.

The Pro version might have a 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired HyperCharging compatibility, while the vanilla version would have a 5,110mAh battery with 45W TurboCharging support.
