The police were called as part of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards’ estranged husband Mauricio Umansky’s family’s feud with his father Eduardo Umansky’s girlfriend, In Touch can exclusively report.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Mauricio’s sister, Sharon Umanksy Benton, revealed she filed a police report and asked for charges to be brought against 81-year-old Eduardo’s longtime partner, Simin Tabibnia.

As In Touch first reported, Sharon, 52, was granted a permanent restraining order against Simin, 68. The order requires Simin to stay 100 yards away from Sharon and to not harass her in any form. The restraining order will expire in 2029.

In her court petition, Sharon accused Simin of isolating Eduardo from his family and friends.

Sharon wrote, “[Simin] keeps him isolated, so I have been trying to visit more often which is why this is happening more. She hides his phone from him and is abusive to him as well but he is old and afraid to be alone and she claims to have some kind of evidence against him for some reason so he stays with her.”

She continued, “I don’t know what all that is but she is attempting to keep me away from my father while she convinces him to give her all his money.”

As part of a separate effort to place Eduardo under a conservatorship, Mauricio, 54, and Sharon told the court, “[Eduardo] is unable to resist undue influence and fraud and has been taken advantage of by his girlfriend. Over the court of the past eighteen months, [Eduardo] and [Mauricio and Sharon] have discovered that she has taken, secreted and appropriated more than $260,000 from [Eduardo] through undue influence, whether physical or emotional and/or fraud,” the petition read.

The court appointed Mauricio and Sharon as co-conservator’s of their father’s finances.

In the restraining order battle, Sharon’s lawyer said, “For a long time, [Simin] had been violent and abusive and then she turned physically violent and unhinged on September 27, 2024, when she attacked [Sharon]. Not only did [Sharon] get struck but [Simin] wildly bit her on the arm and ripped hair out of her scull before the first altercation resulted in a police report” and Sharon requesting criminal charges.

Sharon’s lawyer added, “Things did not get better after this court issued a temporary restraining order against [Simin] and it was served, instead [Simin] continued her course of conduct of violence and hate. When [Simin] saw [Sharon] again on October 9, 2024, in the lobby of her father’s condominium building, [Simin] became unhinged and physically attacked [Sharon] again and engaged in a violent course of conduct and threats requiring the permanent order after full hearings on October 25, 2024.”

Simin filed a petition for a restraining order against Sharon accusing Sharon of getting physical. She also denied keeping Eduardo isolated from his family or that she was taking advantage of him.

The petition was denied in court after the judge heard testimony from both parties. In a recent motion, Sharon asked the court to award her $35,000 to cover the legal fees she spent on fighting Simin in court. Simin has yet to respond to the request.

As In Touch first reported, Mauricio and his real estate company, The Agency, recently denied all allegations brought in a federal lawsuit accusing them of “greed.”
