Post Malone, the chart-topping musician known for his generosity, left a life-changing $20,000 while in Houston.

Post Malone's tip went to Renee Brown, a single mother working at The Railyard, a cozy bar near Houston's River Oaks neighborhood.

Brown, 36, had reluctantly taken the shift, knowing it would be her first Christmas Eve spent away from her nine-year-old daughter, Iliana.

Reflecting on the evening, Brown described it as nothing short of miraculous.

"Being swamped behind the bar, away from home, and processing that they were even there made it a very emotional night," she said.

"When I saw the tip, I immediately broke down crying."

Malone, who spent Christmas Day performing alongside Beyonc?'s NFL halftime concert at NRG Stadium, stopped by the bar with a small group of friends, including Shaboozey, who had also performed at the Beyonc? Bowl.

When regular patrons covered Malone's tab, he insisted on being billed so he could leave a tip.

"When Austin asked for his check, he didn't have one because many regulars and his friends bought his beverages," Brown explained.

"So he asked me to ring him up for a penny or anything, so I did. Then I got to his tip-it was $20,000"

For Brown, the gesture came at a pivotal time.

After enduring a challenging year of "losing everything and starting over from scratch" in August, she planned to use the money to catch up on rent, save for a long-envisioned business, and secure transportation after being without a car for two years.

"This is hands down the most humble, personable celebrity I've had the pleasure of meeting,"Brown wrote on Instagram.

"He changed my life on Christmas Eve, and I will forever be grateful."

Brown praised Malone's kindness and approachability, noting how he made everyone in the bar feel comfortable.

"He has no idea exactly how much this meant to me," she said.
