Primal Scream has revealed plans for a 14-show tour across the UK and Ireland, in anticipation of their 12th studio album, Come Ahead. The 2025 tour will see the Scots icons, famed for their third album, 1991’s Screamadelica, perform at venues such as London’s Eventim Apollo, Glasgow’s O2 Academy, and Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre.
Baxter Dury, son of Ian Dury, will support the band at shows in Bristol, Southampton, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, and Nottingham. Meanwhile, Brixton-formed band Fat White Family will join them for the London concert.
More special guests are set to be announced for performances in Belfast, Dublin, Leeds, and Newcastle. The tour announcement comes ahead of the release of the band’s latest album on November 8, with four tracks already available.
Presale tickets for the tour will be available on Ticketmaster from October 30 at 10am, before general sale begins at 10am on November 1.
Primal Scream, led by Bobby Gillespie since its formation in 1982, is renowned for albums like XTRMNTR (2000), Give Out But Don’t Give Up (1994) and Screamadelica, which blended rock and roll with acid house.
The band boasts three UK top 10 singles and seven UK number one albums.
