Wicked is currently the world's top film, and fans are going crazy for iconic characters Glinda and Elphaba, played by Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo. Whether you identify as Elphie or more with the "Popular" and pink vibe, Primark has got fans covered with its new merchandise range, including a viral set of pyjamas.

The collection features an emerald green pair with a long-sleeved top, gold details, 'Elphaba Thrope' printed on the back, and a witch's hat on the front. There's also a light pink version with 'Glinda Upland' printed on the back.

Both the top and bottoms, promising a "comfy night's sleep", are priced at £16 each or £32 for the set, available in sizes XXS to XXL. Fans have been raving about the pyjamas after a Wicked enthusiast shared a closer look at them in-store.

Lauren Batty went viral on TikTok, urging fellow fans to "run to Primark" to get their hands on the pyjamas, which she spotted at Manchester city centre and Sheffield's Meadowhall. Reporter Lucy Marshall also found them at Trinity Shopping Centre in Leeds.

Fans flooded the comments with excitement, with one saying: "I need these so bad." Another added: "They look soft," while one more fan pleaded: "Please, I want the Glinda one it's so me."

"They're so cute," one shopper gushed. "Oh my god, I need," exclaimed another. However, the steep price tag has left many potential buyers aghast. "£32 I don't think so," balked one customer.

"The price is crazy," echoed another. A third, shocked by the cost, remarked: "I genuinely thought you were joking until I looked again."

"The two items are 32 quid," pointed out another disgruntled shopper.

"Expensive tat from Primark yet again," lamented another. One simply stated: "£32!!!! " While another added: "Primark pjs are so expensive." Yet another chimed in with enthusiasm despite the price: "I need these so bad."

Some savvy shoppers mentioned they've found Wicked themed pyjamas at Asda and Marks and Spencer for potentially better value.

Alongside the contentious pyjamas, Primark has rolled out a Wicked travel cup, tote bag, hoodie, oversized t-shirt, sweatshirt, nightshirt, Witches of Oz short pyjamas, Glinda short pyjamas, makeup bags, compact mirror, trinket dish, and more.
