Prince Harry is set to battle it out with Mike Tindall with both having books released on the same day.
Tomorrow, the paperback version of Harry's explosive memoir Spare is set to be released in the UK, while Mike, the husband of Harry's cousin Zara, will see his book 'The Good, The Bad & The Rugby - Unleashed' also hit shelves. Former England international rugby player Mike tied the knot with wife Zara, the daughter of Princess Anne and niece of King Charles, back in 2011.
The couple has three children together and both Mike and Zara are firm fixtures at royal events, being invited to the likes of royal Christmas at Sandringham and the Coronation last year.

Snippets of the book have already been published in The Telegraph - and it seems Mike recalls what it was really like marrying into the Firm, and the experience he has had. He writes: "Believe it or not, marrying into the Royal family was pretty easy for me. They were always nice to me, and I was always nice to them. Simple really."
This description is in direct contrast to Meghan Markle, who has previously spoken out about how hard she found becoming a royal when she married Harry in 2018. She railed against the Firm in her and Harry's controversial Netflix documentary, suggesting the Prince and Princess of Wales weren't warm towards her.

Meanwhile, Harry's book comes just short of two years after its original release in January 2023. Harry used the tell-all book to allege that Prince William called his wife Meghan Markle 'difficult', 'rude' and 'abrasive' and pushed him into a dog bowl, that King Charles was jealous of the Prince and Princess of Wales and that Charles refused to allow Meghan to join her husband in Scotland as the late Queen was dying.
Usually, when a paperback version of a non-fiction book is released, additional chapters or updated information is included in the new format. However, the upcoming paperback version of Spare will not contain any new information. It will have the same cover image in a newly designed package, however, the "contents of the book are unchanged".
Many had questions about whether Harry would offer up more bombshells in an updated version of Spare given so much has happened since the book was published in early 2023. Since then both Charles and Kate have received cancer diagnoses, while Harry's children Archie and Lilibet have both been given prince and princess titles.
Since the release of Spare, things seem to have gone from bad to worse for relations between Harry and his father and older brother. When it comes to Harry and William, their feud, brewing before the book was released, has become even more frosty. According to The Sunday Times, it is understood the brothers last spoke at their grandmother the late Queen's funeral in September 2022 - and even then, according to Harry's memoir, they "barely exchanged a word".
