Prince William and Kate Middleton have released their annual Christmas card, choosing a poignant family photo after the "hardest year" of their lives.
The yearly tradition comes as the Prince and Princess of Wales look forward to spending time with their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, as well as other members of the Royal Family at Sandringham estate this Christmas.
The photograph on the card shows the Wales' pose for a family photo in Norfolk. The image is taken from a video Kate posted back in September confirming the end of her chemotherapy, with reports saying Anmer Hall became a "safe haven" for the mum-of-three during her cancer treatment.

The post on social media read: "Wishing everyone a very happy Christmas", with the inside of the card reading: "Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year."
According to reports, the family of five are understood to already be in Norfolk for Christmas after George, Charlotte and Louis finished school for the holidays last week.
Kate was last spotted out in public with her family on December 6th as she attended her annual "Together at Christmas" carol service at Westminster Abbey.
William, meanwhile, was out and about a couple of days later as he visited Picton Barracks in Wiltshire. He told people there he was excited to spending Christmas at Sandringham with his family but joked he was "not ready" for it.
The sweet Christmas card comes after William described 2024 as a "brutal year" as he watched his wife Kate and father, King Charles, get diagnosed with cancer.
While visiting South Africa last month, the Prince candidly confessed: "Honestly, it's been dreadful. It's probably been the hardest year in my life. So, trying to get through everything else and keep everything on track has been really difficult.
"But I'm so proud of my wife, I'm proud of my father, for handling the things that they have done. But from a personal family point of view, it's been, yeah, it's been brutal."
