Since the scandal involving Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew, where the Duke of York was allegedly linked to the financier and convicted sex offender's parties, the reputation of the British Royal Family has taken a significant hit. In May 2020, Prince Andrew announced he would indefinitely step down from his public roles as a result of the controversy.

Now, with the Sean "Diddy" Combs scandal, questions have emerged about whether any UK royals were involved in his atrocious activities. So far, no evidence has surfaced, but thanks to reporter Rob Shuter, who worked for Combs in the early 2000s, we have some interesting information.

The Royals dodged a bullet

Shuter told 'BBC News' that he was asked to call Prince William and Prince Harry to invite them to several of Combs' parties. According to him, he extended these invitations "more than 10 times."

He clarified that the princes never accepted any of these invitations. "They were never part of Diddy's world," Shuter told the BBC.

Sean "Diddy" Combs had a huge hunger for power, and being associated with royals was like a fantasy for him. "Diddy was obsessed with Prince Harry and Prince William. He thinks of himself as a king, so it makes perfect sense that he would want two princes in his entourage," Shuter explained.

He had "framed pictures of the Royals in his New York apartment."

Despite Combs' best efforts to get them involved, his dream was never accomplished. "He offered to cover their travel, lodging, and even pay for their security," Shuter added.

Day by day, new information about this massive scandal continues to come up to light, implicating high-profile figures from various fields, including singers, actors, and politicians. The webs of this little spider named 'Diddy' has many more insects trapped than we think. There are many more yet to discover, this is just the beginning.
