While it's unclear when exactly Lady Kitty Spencer welcomed her first child, Princess Diana's niece has revealed a new detail about her little girl. In an interview with Tatler, Kitty, 34, referred to her daughter Athena as a "little Taurus"—the zodiac sign for people born between April 20th and May 20th, per Horoscope.com. Tatler reported that Athena will turn 2 in April.
Kitty's daughter celebrated her first birthday last year with what appeared to be an Aristocats-themed party. A photo and video of treats from the celebration were included in a reel that Kitty posted on New Year's Eve. "Thank you 2024. Feeling huge gratitude for a year of health, happiness, travel & laughter - but most importantly motherhood, love and plenty of family time 💜☀️🐚," she captioned the video. "Wishing everyone a wonderful 2025! Xx."
Kitty, who has been married to Michael Lewis since 2021, revealed last March on Mother’s Day—in the UK—that she had a child. Alongside a video montage featuring photos of herself and her little one, Kitty penned: “It’s the joy of my life to be your mummy, little one. I love you unconditionally 🤍 Happy Mother’s Day to those who celebrate today 🤍."
Months later, she divulged her daughter's name on Instagram with a sweet photo of Athena gazing out a window. Kitty admitted to Tatler that she does "a lot less" now that she has her little girl. "I’m much more selective because it’s not really free time any more. I’ve got to really want to do something," she said. "I’m happy with the balance."
Kitty described one-year-old Athena as "very outdoorsy and like a little spinning top." Kitty's younger sisters, twins Lady Amelia Spencer and Lady Eliza Spencer, told Tatler that they are "steering" their niece "in our direction."
"She’s very similar to the twins," Kitty said of her daughter. "It’s so funny…so cool for her when she has these two aunts that come bursting through the door. I don’t think she thinks there’s an age gap."
"I don’t think we think there’s an age gap," Amelia added, to which Kitty replied, "So there’s actually a triplet there for them. When the girls are on the phone and she doesn’t want them to go, she pulls out her whole repertoire of tricks."
