A lawsuit has been filed accusing Sean "Diddy" Combs of attempted sexual assault, claiming that a professional athlete stepped in to stop the alleged incident at one of his high-profile parties.

According to court documents, the incident took place during a Ciroc vodka launch event hosted by Combs around 2022.

The alleged victim, referred to as "John Doe," is a Los Angeles-based businessman who rents luxury cars and jewelry.

The alleged incident

He stated that Combs, a long-time client, invited him to the party, promising the presence of several high-profile figures from the music and entertainment world, which persuaded him to attend. The lawsuit alleges that during the event, Combs invited the man to his private office, where things took a troubling turn.

Once inside, Combs allegedly exposed himself after removing his pants. The situation reportedly ended when an unnamed athlete, identified only as "Professional Athlete A" in the legal filing, entered the office and intervened, allowing the businessman to leave the room.

"Combs continued to move closer and then grabbed Plaintiff's genitals through his pants, squeezing them in a rough and sexual manner," the suit reads.

"Plaintiff, shocked and disoriented, frozen momentarily and did not know how to respond to the weirdly inappropriate sexual advance made by Combs."

Court documents claim the man immediately exited the party. Earlier in the night, he had taken a photograph of Combs sitting on a couch with other celebrities and this image was included in the lawsuit, though the faces of the other guests were blurred.

These allegations are part of a string of recent civil suits against Combs filed in the Southern District of New York. Among the lawsuits is another case alleging that Combs was involved in the sexual assault of a 13-year-old at a VMAs afterparty in 2000, with two other celebrities allegedly participating.
