For some, the WWE Hall of Fame is yet another accolade added to an illustrious career.
For others, it is the pinnacle of achievement for someone who contributed significantly to the business of professional wrestling but didn't get their dues while they were active.

Then there's another group that many people believe shouldn't be in the WWE Hall of Fame at all, the majority of which are found in the celebrity branch.
One such person is professional wrestling legend and ECW icon Sabu, who has gone so far as to call the entire establishment "bulls---."
In a recent interview with DonutShopChronicles365 on YouTube (via Fightful), Sabu addressed whether he thought he would ever be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. His response was a resounding no.
"I don't know," Sabu said. "Probably never, really. I'm not eligible for the WWE Hall of Fame, not that I want to be anyway, because I didn't have a Hall of Fame career while I was there. Another Hall of Fame, who knows."
While Sabu has definitely had a legendary career with Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) and National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), he has spent far less time in WWE.

Still, even if Sabu felt he was eligible for the WWE Hall of Fame, he wouldn't want to be a part of it. While there are people there he believes belong, others are unworthy in his eyes.
"Rob Van Dam is Hall of Fame material too, but is Drew Carey?" Sabu asked. "Is Drew Carey Hall of Fame material? He goes in it, that means it's going to be bulls---. If he's in it, it's bulls---."
Of all the celebrities who have been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, Drew Carey is one of the lamest, having appeared briefly during the 2001 Royal Rumble and eliminating himself from the match in record time.
Meanwhile, there are other celebrities who have more than earned their spots, like Muhammad Ali, Andy Kaufman, Snoop Dogg, and Donald Trump.

While Sabu doesn't want to be a part of the WWE Hall of Fame, one person thinks he more than qualifies: the aforementioned Rob Van Dam.
"Well, I would love to see Sabu inducted into the Hall of Fame," Van Dam said, per Fightful. "I feel like on a lot of grounds, he should have been inducted before me. He was my mentor, my trainer, and I had a little text conversation with him and I said how I felt that he should be in there before me."
Maybe, Sabu and WWE will change their minds and the hardcore legend will join the Hall of Fame alongside Drew Carey.
