Winning an Oscar, Emmy or Tony award is what every star aspires to!

But it may come as a surprise that not every celebrity chooses to store their statue on a traditional trophy cabinet.

Let's take a look through the random places some of Hollywood's elite are keeping their awards.

Read on to see them all...

British singer-songwriter Sam Fender has found possibly the most bizarre place to store his Brit Awards.

After taking his first Brit Award home in 2019, he knew exactly where to take it:

Fender's Brit Award is now installed as a beer tap at his local pub, which he told the BBC was the place he was discovered when he was 18 years old.

It was his bar manager at the time that recognised North East music manager Owain Davies out celebrating his own Brit win, and encouraged Fender to get his guitar out.

But the pub, Low Lights Tavern in North Shields, has since had an upgrade.

Ahead of his nominations at the 2022 Brit Awards, Fender and his band ran a campaign on social media urging fans to vote for them to "get my local pub a Brit".

And it seems it worked, with Fender taking home the win in a category voted for by fans.

"Now I've got two, I'm going to go back [to the pub] and do the exact same thing," he told the BBC after his win.

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga has revealed the unexpected location of her Oscar.

The singer and actress has four Academy Awards and has given fans a sneak peek at where she keeps them.

Sharing an ultra-rare glimpse into her mansion, Lady Gaga posted a TikTok video to promote her new singer with Bruno Mars, Die With A Smile.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed one of her Oscars resting on top of her closet's mantle piece.

In the since-viral video, the Poker Face singer's Oscar is seen casually placed in the corner of her sprawling closet.

During an interview with CNA Luxury in 2019, the star revealed she has various places in her home for her many awards.

"I have my nine Grammys and my Oscar and my other awards that you just mentioned, I have them sort of in the kitchen area and also on a shelf that leads to the bathroom.

"So, when I wake up, and I go into the kitchen, I once in a while will just glance up at those awards, and I go, 'hm, wow, okay, you did that.'"

Kate Winslet

Kate Winslet keeps her treasured Academy Award in the toilet.

Winslet nabbed herself an Oscar in 2009 for The Reader, winning Best Actress and promptly decided the bathroom would be a superb place for the prestigious award – and her justification for it is hilarious.

"The whole point is for everybody to pick it up and go, 'I'd like to thank my son and my dad' – and you can always tell when someone has, because they're in there a little bit longer after they flushed," Winslet told the Wall Street Journal.

"They'll come out looking slightly pink-cheeked. It's hysterical."

The Block's Scott Cam repurposed his two gold Logie awards into something rather unconventional.

While you'd think two Logies would be placed front and centre on a mantlepiece, Cam turned them into something any tradie would consider practical: a bottle opener.

He calls it the "gold stubby opener" and it's an easy way to show it off to your mates when they come over, rather than just pulling it off the shelf.

Aussie actor Russell Crowe clinched the Oscar for Best Actor for his stellar performance in Gladiator.

He allegedly stores the statuette in a chicken coop on his Australian ranch.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift's most infamous award – the 2009 moonman she won for best music video at the VMAs – sits right next to her coffee machine in a very nonchalant manner.

If you can recall, Swift was in the middle of accepting the award in 2009 for best music video when Kanye West stormed the stage, snatching the microphone from her and humiliating her on live television.

While the moment was mortifying, Swift has cathartically dealt with the event through a number of songs.

In an interview with Vogue in 2016, Swift was giving a house tour when eagle-eyed fans spotted the infamous moonman being used as décor in her kitchen, nestled next to her coffee machine.

Terms of Endearment star (and sister to Warren Beatty) Shirley MacLaine might just have the most practical use for her Oscar Award. Speaking to InStyle back in 2001, MacLaine revealed she uses her statuette as a paper weight.

"Oscar serves a very practical purpose," MacLaine said.

"When the winds blow through my New Mexico ranch, he keeps The New York Times from blowing away."

Natalie Portman

Natalie Portman won an Oscar for her performance in Black Swan.

It turns out the actress doesn't have the slightest clue where it is.

"I think it's in the safe or something. I don't know," she told The Hollywood Reporter in 2015.

She discussed her desire to avoid worshipping "false idols" after reading historical stories to her son.

"I haven't seen it in a while. I mean, Darren [Aronofsky, the director of Black Swan] actually said to me something when we were in that whole thing that resonated so deeply.

"I was reading the story of Abraham to my child and talking about, like, not worshipping false idols. And this is literally like gold men. This is literally worshipping gold idols – if you worship it. That's why it's not displayed on the wall. It's a false idol."

Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow's Oscar is stored somewhere at the back of a bookshelf.

"I keep it tucked away at the back of the bookshelf in my bedroom because it weirds me out," Paltrow said of her Oscar she won in 1999 for Shakespeare in Love.

"For weeks after I won, I kept it in storage ... I won't even put it on the mantlepiece, the thing freaks me out," she told Contact Music.

"For some reason, I haven't been able to feel really good about it. I just feel sort of embarrassed and it brings up weird, traumatic feelings. It's associated with a tough time in my life."

Timothy Hutton stores his Oscar in the fridge!

Hutton was the youngest actor to win an Academy Award when he scored the gong in 1980 for Ordinary People.

Hutton's sister was behind the hilarious idea, "She thought that would be kind of funny to put the Oscar in the refrigerator when people would go grab a beer or something ... It's still there."

Richard Dreyfuss

Just like Timothy Hutton, Richard Dreyfuss also keeps his Oscar in a rather ~cool~ place (pun intended).

The veteran star took home a Best Actor award in 1978 for his work in The Goodbye Girl. Dreyfuss revealed that he keeps his Oscar in his fridge as a subtle brag.

"I don't like to brag, but I like everyone to know about it," Dreyfuss told The Hollywood Reporter. "Sooner or later, I know they are all going to go to the refrigerator."

In 2013, Drake found a unique way of repurposing his brand new Grammy Award.

Hours after receiving his Best Rap Album trophy for Take Care, Drake took a shot out of the golden gramophone.

However, it's worth noting Jay-Z was the first person to do this. The rapper drank Cognac out of his Grammy Award.

Alicia Vikander decided to give her Oscar to a friend's daughter.

"I haven't seen him since that night!" she told People in 2017. Vikander won the Best Actress Oscar for The Danish Girl in 2016.

"I very recently moved into my new place and, because I've been away working so much, I gave him to a friend in L.A."

Rosamund Pike

Rosamund Pike has a special place for her Oscar, in her garden.

"I just find it an uneasy thing to display any award in your home because how do people interact with them when they come home?" Pike said during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "Do they say, 'Oh, wow, look those are your awards?'"

She added, "I think it's awkward so I bury it in the garden with a little bit showing up so you can have an enticing glimpse of a hand or the globe maybe."

Goldie Hawn's oscar lives in the Meditation Room.

Hawn won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 1970 for her role in Cactus Flower.

"My award is in the room where I study and practice meditation. Sometimes it's on the mantel, sometimes I put it away," she told InStyle. "Trophy rooms are the opposite of me. Awards are history – that's my philosophy."

Anna Paquin keeps her Academy Award somewhere in her closet!

Paquin won the award at 11 years old for The Piano.

"I keep it next to my boots at the back of my closet," she told InStyle in 1999. "I don't display it because friends would think they had to comment and I don't want that kind of attention."
