Ray J has addressed reports of him allegedly being confronted at a club by Diddy’s sons.
In a recent conversation with Wack 100, as seen in the clip below, Ray J, who has been vocal about Diddy in recent months, said that he had “nobody with me” at the time of the alleged incident in Los Angeles. As previously reported by TMZ, the moment in question is said to have seen Quincy Brown, Christian Combs, and Justin Combs rushing him outside of a Halloween party hosted by Tara Electra. Ray J estimates that around eight people were involved, noting his efforts to bring “some sense” to the situation.
“I moved away from it,” he told Wack. “I tried to talk some sense into what happened. Luckily, the homie Chris was there.”
Ray J then clarified that the Chris in question was “Chris Brown, bro,” though he also repeatedly urged Wack to not publicize what he was saying any further.
Diddy remains in custody after being accused in an indictment of sex trafficking and racketeering. The embattled Bad Boy Records founder has also been named in multiple lawsuits accusing him of abuse, with his family recently saying in a recent statement that they “stand united” despite the circumstances.
“We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family,” the statement read.
Meanwhile, Ray J’s manager, David Weintraub, spoke about the same alleged incident when approached by a TMZ-aligned paparazzo on Tuesday. According to him, the best way to describe what allegedly transpired over the weekend is that a “great party” was “ruined by little kids trying to fight a big boy.”
