Ray J fessed up about his alleged fight with Diddy's sons during an impromptu Instagram Live session with Nicki Minaj.
Reports recently surfaced claiming that the "Sexy Can I" singer came to blows with Diddy's biological sons, Justin and Christian "King" Combs, and adopted son, Quincy Brown, during a Tara Electra-hosted Halloween bash in Los Angeles on Sunday morning.
Chris Brown was said to defuse the situation, which Ray J later corroborated during a conversation with music manager Wack 100.
But while chatting on Instagram Live with Minaj on Wednesday, around the 19-minute mark of the recap below, Ray J clarified that the situation was a heated argument.
"No, we didn’t have a fight. We had a big argument right outside the club," Ray J, who repeatedly claimed to be a "Barb," said after Minaj asked if he had been "fighting in the club."
"This time, I think I got loud and got aggressive," he said. "But it was the third time this happened, so I felt like I needed to stand up for myself."
He continued, "Even though I was talking shit and we were having a lot of crazy words, I was walking that way to avoid the issue. So that’s what happened and it’s unfortunate."
The Raycon founder also explained that following the altercation, he had a 35-minute conversation with the Combs siblings.
But the "FTCU" rapper, who demanded to be called "Mrs. Petty," said, "I don't care" before asking what the men were arguing about. Apparently, comments that Ray J made about Diddy on NewsNation weren't sitting well with the music mogul's family.
Ray J appeared on NewsNation twice in the fall and denied that most of the music industry was aware of the "Freak Offs" that Diddy allegedly orchestrated.
