Ray J has claimed he was targeted in a shooting recently that could've taken his life.
On Tuesday, the singer hopped on his Instagram Stories to let his fans know that someone wanted him killed as he just survived an alleged shooting. According to Ray J, he avoided the bullets but made it clear the incident was tied to a feud, and he wouldn't apologize to an unnamed person expecting one from him.
"N***as just tried to shoot me and tried to kill me n***a and you want me to apologize n***a? Fuck you," Ray J said in the video.
Ray J's harrowing ordeal comes weeks after he was involved in an altercation with Diddy's sons Christian, Quincy, and Justin Combs, in Los Angeles during Halloween weekend. There's no official word that the shooting was tied to that incident last month.
The Combs brothers were unhappy with several comments Ray J made regarding their father and proceeded to take matters into their own hands by pressing the singer outside a party. According to TMZ, Chris Brown and Ray J's manager, David Weintraub, prevented the altercation from escalating that night as both parties went their separate ways.
Ray J spoke about the situation in a conversation with Wack 100, where he said he didn't have anyone on his side and that around eight people were involved in the scuffle.
"I moved away from it," he told Wack. "I tried to talk some sense into what happened. Luckily, the homie Chris was there."
