Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Jennifer Fessler, Jackie Goldschneider Share Filming Update Amid Hiatus

Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Jennifer Fessler and Jackie Goldschneider are still in the dark about the show’s future amid its hiatus after season 14.

“We know nothing,” Jackie, 48, exclusively told In Touch in a rare filming update at iHeartRadio Z100’s Jingle Ball 2024 presented by Capital One at Madison Square Garden in New York on December 13.

Though the RHONJ stars don’t know anything about season 15 yet, Jennifer, 56, said “of course” she would be willing to go back.

During the hiatus, Jackie and Jennifer have been working hard on their “Two Jersey Js” podcast, which Jackie said they want “to get as big as possible.”

“We wanna have some great guests and some really fun podcasts in the new year. And we’re both exploring other new ventures,” the former lawyer added.

Jennifer chimed in, “Yeah. I’m doing Page Six. I have this sort of stint with them called ‘Housewife Hot Takes.’ So, yeah, that’s been really fun. We’re both … we’re busy, which is nice. So we’re not missing it too much.”

Jackie continued, “You know what? The break has been nice, but I’m ready to know what’s going on. Yeah. You know, it’s just so I could either get excited or have closure. Either way. I’m fine. I just want to know.”

RHONJ season 14 ended in August with a non-traditional reunion special featuring cast members Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Danielle Cabral and Rachel Fuda. It was reported at the time that the show would likely be on pause for several months as the producers figured out the direction they wanted to take things amid the massive feud between Teresa, 52, and Melissa, 45, which left the cast divided.

“There are not going to be any decisions about what will or won’t happen with the show until early next year,” a source told Daily Mail in August. “Filming will likely not resume until 2025.”

The insider continued, “There is not going to be any more filming of RHONJ for the remainder of the year. There’s nothing planned. It’s on ice.”

Details for season 15, including the cast and a production start date, have remained up in the air.

Andy Cohen sparked rumors of an official RHONJ reboot in July by saying on his Andy Cohen Live SiriusXM radio show, “We’re gonna reboot it. We’re gonna do something different.” However, he clarified his comment a few days later.

“I was just riffing,” Andy said. “We are going to reimagine the show in some way, and I was just like, ‘Yeah, we’re rebooting. … Who knows? Maybe it’ll be all fresh faces.’ And that was just me kind of in the mood.”

As the cast members have divided themselves into team Melissa and team Teresa, Jennifer and Jackie told In Touch that they’ve kept in contact with both sides amid the filming break.

“So [Jennifer’s] close with Margaret and Dolores. I’m very close with Teresa. And I talk to Jennifer, and so the opposite sides we’ve had between the two of us, we got it all covered,” Jackie explained, although she added that she “doesn’t even ask” how the members of “team Melissa” are doing.

“I don’t even want to know,” she said.

“I think everybody’s on a break,” Jennifer said. “Nobody’s looking for that same crazy animosity right now.”

Jackie concluded, “By the way, I want everyone … I want good for everybody. Yeah. I don’t wish bad for anybody. I just wanna spend time with the people who I enjoy.”
