Rebekah Vardy has slammed an I'm A Celebrity star for their "obvious" ploy for airtime.
The WAG, 42, took to her column with The Sun to give her side of the story as I'm A Celebrity got underway for another series. Giving her honest thoughts the campmates, it did not take long for her to get stuck in and say what she really thought.
She explained that she was tremendously proud of podcast host GK Barry after she screamed her way through her first trial, adding she was a lot braver than former model Rebekah could be. "She really made me laugh and I really think she’s going to go far in this show, especially with her motivational quotes, ‘shut up and grow up’, iconic; she’s so down to earth and I’m really, really loving her," she said.

However, her praise for the campmates ran short when it came to one particular famous face, as she blasted BBC Radio 1 host Dean McCullough for his apparent "cosying up" to co-star Coleen Rooney. "It’s so very obvious and, believe me, it is going to get tiresome," she fumed.
"He absolutely loves to talk about Wagatha and when he does, he knows he’s going to get airtime from it," she continued. "I’m actually really glad he got voted to do the trial because actually I find him really, really irritating - give it a rest, mate, I don’t think it’ll take long for the public to get bored of him at all."
Rebekah also heaped praise on former boxer Barry McGuigan who broke down in tears as he opened up on the loss of his darling daughter Danika. She branded him "an incredible human being", adding: "No parent should ever ever have to go through something like that."
Rebekah's thoughts come after she was mocked by hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly just three minutes into the new series. After welcoming viewers at home to the jungle, the cheeky Geordie duo could not help themselves but get a sly dig in.
Speaking about the campmates who had made their way into the Aussie jungle, Dec said: "It'll be nice for Coleen to face a trial that doesn't involve Rebekah Vardy." The comment left former WAG Rebekah livid, but she did not address the remarks directly.
Instead, Rebekah - who herself went into the jungle back in 2017 - posted a snap of herself sunbathing whilst on the show to her Instagram. She added in the caption of the pic: "That feeling when you are living rent-free in everyone's heads!" followed by a slew of crying-with-laughter emojis.
Columnist Rebekah is keeping a close eye on this year's line-up due to her ongoing feud with Coleen in the wake of the Wagatha Christie debacle. She also has reportedly instructed her legal team to "keep an eye" for any instance where Coleen mentions the term "Wagatha Christie", as Rebekah owns the trademark of the name.
I'm A Celebrity airs every day at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
