Redmi K80 Series could make a debut soon in the Chinese market. In a recent development, the General Manager of Redmi teased the upcoming lineup online. It has been confirmed that the lineup will include two smartphones – Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro. The latest rumors regarding the Pro variant suggest that it will bring the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. Both the devices will run on the Redmi customized HyperOS 2 UI.
Apart from that, it has also been revealed that the upcoming Redmi K80 series will get improved battery, display, and imaging capability, as compared to its predecessors. The devices will boast a unique design with a metal frame and new texture. And of course, the pricing of the series will be at the higher end considering that Redmi is planning to offer Snapdragon 8 Elite processor in the Pro variant.
Redmi K80 Pro details you need to know
The Redmi K80 Pro has made its appearance on the Antutu 10 platform and it has scored almost 3 million points. The smartphone will come with a 6.7-inch 2K display coupled with a 120Hz refresh rate. Both devices will also have an IP68 certification for protection from dust and water.

Additionally, the image of the device shared by the official suggests that it will get heavy configuration and will be sold at a higher price as compared to its competitors.
What’s more, is that Redmi’s General Manager took it to the comments and told the audience that the smartphone will be available at a price lower than the OnePlus 13. Keeping the price of the OnePlus 13 in mind which is CNY 4,499 roughly converts to 53,000, we can expect the Redmi offering to land in between the price range of Rs 45,000 to 50,000.
