Redmi Note 14 series is going to make a debut in the Indian market starting on December 9, 2024. And now, ahead of the official launch, Xiaomi has started teasing the features of the Pro Plus variant from the series via a dedicated microsite. The microsite of Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus is boasting a tagline saying Super Camera and Super AI. Apart from this, the key details related to the sensor and display have also been revealed.

Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus design and specifications

Redmi claims that the design of the device is heavily inspired by Xiaomi’s Alive design language. As it can be seen in the teased images, the device will sport a protruding square-shaped camera island. In addition, it will have three snappers and an LED flash. We can also see text like 50MP and OIS (which clearly means Optical Image Stabilization on the camera module).

At the front, the smartphone will have a punch-hole cutout for the placement of the selfie shooter and a slightly curved display. The smartphone will be shipped in three different colors including black, green, and purple (leather finish). The marketing names of the color variants could be pretty different.

As for the confirmed specifications, Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus will bring more than 20 AI features. The smartphone will get a curved AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The device will sport a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP telephoto shooter, an 8MP ultra wide angle shooter, and a 2MP macro shooter.

Coming to the assumptions, the Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus’ China variant comes with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. Expectations are that we will get to see the same variant in the Indian variant as well. Along with that, we can also get to see a 6,200mAh battery, 120Hz refresh rate, and 90W fast charging support in the upcoming mid-range smartphone by Xiaomi.
