Janey Godley left people across the country and globe heartbroken earlier this month following her sad passing after a long battle with cancer.
At 63, the beloved Scottish comedian left a lasting legacy which touched many hearts before passing away on November 2. Janey sold-out performances throughout the UK and was known for her large social media following.
She also earned praise from legendary comics such as Sir Billy Connolly, as well as Hollywood celebrities like Mark Hamill and was often known to brush shoulders with good pal and former First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.
For many Scots, Godley is perhaps best remembered for putting smiles on faces across the country during the Covid pandemic with her Nicola Sturgeon voiceovers.

As reported by the Daily Record, Godley had a difficult upbringing in the East End of Glasgow in the 1960s and 70s. Living in poverty, both of Godley's parents struggled with alcohol addiction and she was abused by her uncle throughout her childhood.
