Thanksgiving looked a whole lot different this year for Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann. Rather than spending time as a family in their 15,000-square-foot mansion, the estranged couple spent time getting settled into their new rental homes.
Kim and Kroy’s mansion is going up for auction on December 3, and insiders close to the family shared new details on how the couple are navigating the split. After months and months of fighting to stay in their home, they’re finally starting a much-needed, new chapter.

The former Real Housewives of Atlanta stars were left with no choice but to vacate the property.
The pair have spent the last week moving items out of their home, with multiple moving trucks spotted outside their home. At one point, the two got into a huge argument which resulted in a visit from the cops. They warned the couple to stay away from each other, and it looks like they’re following that advice.
According to TMZ, Kim and Kroy have managed to get their own rental homes. Was a credit check required? Probably not, but they’re supposedly right down the street from the McMansion that’s going up for auction.
The insider noted that Kim and Kroy’s four minor children will bounce between the two houses. This means that after spending over a year divorcing, they’re finally living like exes. It’s a big step, but perhaps they’ll finally have some peace.
