From a puppy's mischief at her first training class to a dog that was raised by cats, the internet hasn't disappointed with viral pet moments this week.

This week's Pet of the Week is pit bull rescue Gelato who was caught on camera enjoying an unexpected treat—a carrot.
"He's so full of energy and super playful. He's been home for four weeks and is starting to adjust a little more each day," Gelato's owner Paige Copas told Newsweek.
While they are a little different to the usual milk bone, carrots are not only safe for dogs but also a nutritious snack. Packed with vitamins and low in calories, they're a great treat and help clean dog teeth as your pup chews.
Now living his best life with owner Copas, 1-year-old Gelato was a stray when he arrived at the shelter. "My favorite thing about him is his love for me," Copas said. "It's pure and unconditional."
Finalists
Next up this week is Smooch, the beloved companion of owner Gina Corser. Despite becoming physically disabled in recent years, Corser's bond with Smooch has kept a smile on her face.
Smooch joined Corser's life as a 4-week-old puppy when they lived in a dilapidated cabin. Now, four years later, he has grown alongside his cherished stuffed animals, lovingly referred to as his "babies."
"I love him beyond and trust him more than anyone else in the world," Corser told Newsweek.
Next up this week is Henry, a loyal and protective feline companion to owner Deborah Wood.
Wood dubbed Henry her "trash man" when he started to lay on top of the kitchen trash can at just 9 months old.
Wood told Newsweek: "Henry is very loyal to me, protective, and he is well behaved, for the most part."
Henry knows to grab a toy to play with when he's bored, and is even in the process of learning to play fetch.
"He weighs right at 20 pounds and is still growing," Wood said. "He is a joy to be best friends with, and I consider myself one lucky woman to be his mom."
Last but not least this week is Helen Bright's Chihuahua Suki. Born weighing just over 2 ounces, Suki wasn't expected to survive, but her remarkable determination surprised everyone.
"We didn't think that she would make it," Bright told Newsweek. "She proved us wrong."
Recently, Suki celebrated her third birthday, and now weighs over 2 pounds. Despite her small size, Suki has a big heart and adores everyone she meets, spreading happiness wherever she goes.
