RHOBH Season 14: Why Kyle Richards Has Been Texting PK Kemsley

Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills was rough for Kyle Richards. She was having marital issues, eventually separating from her husband, Mauricio Umansky. However, Kyle wasn’t forthcoming about her marriage problems with her co-stars. Now Kyle’s former bestie Dorit Kemsley, and her husband, PK Kemsley, have also separated. Their split will play out during Season 14 of RHOBH. Now Kyle and PK’s texting friendship is being called into question.

In the Season 14 trailer, Garcelle Beauvais revealed that PK and Kyle text each other. Is that a big deal? Probably not. However, Dorit and Kyle have fallen out, so it could make Dorit uncomfortable. Just like those romance rumors a few years ago about Dorit and Mauricio made Kyle annoyed.

Kyle recently addressed the PK texting rumors. “PK and I have always had this brother-sister banter that Dorit always loved and she would always talk about. We even talked about, when Dorit and I weren’t speaking, that PK and I would send funny memes and stuff,” Kyle told DECIDER. “We always knew that we would be friends again, and she never cared about that.”

However, amid Dorit’s separation, and now that Dorit and Kyle’s friendship is on shaky ground, her feelings may have changed. “It became like, ‘Why is he even sending you this stuff?’ And I was like, ‘Oh, my God.’ It just became way bigger than it was,” Kyle stated. “And I felt really like my character was being questioned.” The RHOBH OG added, “I thought, ‘You know who I am. You know my character. You know this is nothing like that. Like, why are you trying to make something out of nothing?’”

Kyle continued, “And I just didn’t have it in me at that point with all the stuff that was going on in my personal life. So I was just like, ‘I cannot do this anymore. This is what it’s going to be.”‘

Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premieres on Tuesday, November 19 at 8/7c on Bravo.
