Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Garcelle Beauvais scored a substantial six-figure lump sum and monthly child support in her divorce from her ex-husband Mike Nilon, who she infamously accused of cheating in a mass email to his coworkers.

In Touch obtained the divorce settlement signed on June 10, 2011, by Garcelle, 57, and her ex-husband. The exes wed on May 12, 2001.

The couple share twins Jax and Jaid, born in 2007. Garcelle filed for divorce on May 10, 2010.

Per their settlement, Garcelle was awarded an interest in the net proceeds of the sale of the former family residence in Sherman Oaks, California, all interest in a company called Bumble, Inc., several bank accounts and all interest in her SAG pension plan.

On top of that, Garcelle walked away with a 2010 Land Rover LR4, as well as all right and interest to any residuals and royalties owed to her. She also kept all clothing, jewelry and other personal effects in her possession.

The deal said Garcelle was also awarded $100,000 that was advanced to her from Mike’s employment bonus that he received. She also kept half of the furniture and other personal property in the home they shared.

Mike was awarded half of net proceeds of the former family home, several bank accounts, a Ford F-150 truck, a 2002 GMC Envoy Sports Wagon and all of his jewelry.

The actress and her ex agreed to split all debts on their credit cards for Bloomingdales, American Express, Banana Republic, Saks, Bergdorf Goodman, and several other accounts.

Garcelle and Mike agreed to share joint legal custody of their twins. They worked out a parenting plan that had the kids spending time with both parents each week. Mike agreed to pay Garcelle a one-time lump sum of $250,000 in cash to settle all claims to spousal support.

On top of that, Mike agreed to pay $5,000 per month in child support.

They agreed to split the costs of a nanny, private school tuition, and agreed upon extracurricular and summer activities.

Garcelle opened up about her split from Mike on a 2020 episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The entertainer claimed to have found a text that said, “I love you,” from another woman on her husband’s phone. “I go, ‘Hey, what’s this?’ And his face changed,” she said. “And he said, ‘I’ve been having an affair.’ And I said, ‘How long?’ And he said, ‘Five years.’” After learning about the news, Garcelle sent an email to Mike’s coworkers at a major talent agency.

The email’s subject line was “Tiger Woods/Jesse James/Mike Nilon,” In the email, she wrote, “What do they have in common… I found out today that MY husband of almost 9 yrs has been having an affair for 5 yrs with some s–t in Chicago. I am devastated!!!! And I have been duped!! Our boys don’t deserve this!”

The email ended up being leaking to the press at the time. On RHOBH, Garcelle said she never found out who the alleged mistress was. “I have no idea what happened. I was devastated, so I didn’t care what happened to her,” she said. ‘My priority was taking care of my children, and now I feel like it’s my time.” Garcelle said in 2020 that she had worked hard to maintain an amicable relationship with Mike following their breakup.

“We worked really hard to put the kids first and be able to coparent,” she told Us Weekly. “I mean, he was at my house [on] Thanksgiving, he’s here all the time. … No matter what, we’re still family.”
